EIMAB Dragon Winners 2024-2025
Dragon Points Celebration – End of Year 2024/25
On the final day of the 2024/25 school year, the English section celebrated the achievements of all pupils through our Dragon Points initiative.
Dragon Points are awarded throughout the year to recognise positive behaviour, academic progress, acts of kindness, and effort both in and out of the classroom. Every child from P1 to P4 takes part enthusiastically, earning points for their team. At the end of each term, with the help of our fantastic P4 Dragon Captains (Emery, Rayan, Hector and Romina) we total the points for each of our four dragon teams: Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue.
The dragon teams are inspired by the striking bronze dragon sculpture in Mersch’s Place Saint-Michel, beside the old tower of St Michael. Created by sculptor Paul Eyschen, the fountain is more than just a piece of public art—it is rich in local symbolism. We are proud that the Mersh dragon forms part of our school logo and helps to motivate our students.
This celebration brings together local culture, history, and school values to create a meaningful and motivating experience for our pupils.
A huge congratulations to this year’s winners – the Yellow Team! They earned a total of 1,696 points—a fantastic achievement!
Finally, a big thanks to our 4 Dragon captains for all their hard work and dedication this year! Keep working hard dragons!
