A great day out in Nancy!

On Wednesday 6 July, the S1 FR2 class visited the city of Nancy. In the morning, the students discovered the Musée des Beaux-Arts with a guide. They were very interested and went through the different rooms to see different works of art from different styles and periods. Famous painters are exhibited in this museum: a portrait by Modigliani, paintings by Émile Friant and a Delacroix, for example.

Lunch was served in the sunshine in the Pépinière garden. The students enjoyed an ice cream or a waffle in the rose garden.

In the afternoon, a rally was organised. In small groups, they wandered through the streets of the historic town centre and discovered the importance of the presence of King Stanislas.

It was a great way to round off the year!
