As part of the PE H2O Vita est project and the awareness week on glacier
protection, S4 students took part, from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 March 2026, in
an interdisciplinary project week dedicated to protecting glaciers and tackling climate
change.
Over these three days, students worked according to an alternative timetable, from
8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 March, then from 8:15 a.m.
to around 1:00 p.m. on Friday 20 March. They carried out research, produced various
materials (posters, presentations, digital quizzes) and prepared activities to raise
awareness within the school community about glacier melting and the preservation of
water resources.
On Friday morning, the results of their work were first presented to S3 students,
before being shown to a jury of geography teachers between 9:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
This project week gave our students the opportunity to develop their scientific
knowledge, critical thinking and civic engagement in the face of today’s climate
challenges.
