The choice of language section depends on the child's dominant language. In addition, students choose a second language (L2) that will accompany them through to the baccalauréat. The choice of the second language (L2) must obviously be different from that of the first language (L1).
Learning Lëtzebuergësch as an integration language is compulsory for all elementary school pupils.
Outside compulsory primary school hours, children can attend the SEA (Service d'Education et d'Accueil). This service requires a financial contribution via service vouchers.
For further information on the organisation of courses, please consult the website of the Office of the Secretary General of the European Schools.

"Because every student, at some point in his or her education, may need help."
- General support: for children who need an extra explanation or review of a subject that has not been understood (one-off help).
- Moderate support: for children who need more targeted help and are having difficulty following the curriculum (language problems, concentration difficulties, dyslexia, etc.).
- Intensive support: for children with specific learning, emotional, behavioral or physical needs. Support is provided following a medical, psychological and/or multidisciplinary report.
Two major educational projects are integrated into the primary school curriculum:
- Education for sustainable development, which enables students to grasp the complexity of today's world, taking into account the interactions between the environment and society.
- Introduction to the media and coding, which has the great advantage of mobilising pupils' ability to analyse a complex problem and solve it step by step, reducing it to a series of simple problems.
