World of Opera @ EIMAB

On 5 February, our S3 students and the members of the choir had the opportunity to discover the beautiful world of opera. The soprano opera singer, Mrs. Maria Devitzaki, after talking to the students about opera singing and its techniques, did some vocal exercises with the students. The students understood experientially the importance and the goal of each exercise. At the end she sang a cappella the song “O moi Bambino Caro”. It was a very beautiful experience.

Le 5 février, nos élèves de S3 et les membres de la chorale ont eu l’occasion de découvrir le monde merveilleux de l’opéra. La soprano d’opéra, Mme Maria Devitzaki, après avoir parlé aux élèves du chant d’opéra et de ses techniques, a fait quelques exercices vocaux avec les élèves. Les élèves ont compris par expérience l’importance et le but de chaque exercice. À la fin, elle a chanté a cappella la chanson “O mio Bambino Caro”. Ce fut une très belle expérience.
